On Sunday 18th September at 10am, Le Club de Randonnée puts its best foot forward with a gentle walk along the Hackett Track to the Whispering Falls. The return trip is expected to take around three hours with young children (usually around 2 hours for adults) giving us ample opportunity to speak in French! Bring a picnic or a snack to eat at the falls before making our way back to the Hackett carpark. Dogs are permitted on this track on a lead, if anyone is interested in bringing their pooch! To drive to the Hackett carpark you need to head out to Hope, then take the Aniseed Valley Road up and over the hill and continue along the same road for several kilometers until you arrive at the Hackett carpark. This walk is intended to be a pleasurable stroll and therefore it will be weather dependent.
